Flour and beef from Argentina arrive in Spain under sustainable production

The Embassy of Argentina in Spain has presented VISEC, a platform to promote soybean and bovine value chains under sustainable production systems. Yesterday, December 19, 2023, an institutional presentation on VISEC, the Argentine Platform for deforestation-free soybeans and beef, was held at the Argentine Embassy in Madrid, which was led by Gustavo Idigoras, President of the Chamber of the Oil Industry ( CIARA) and the Cereal Exporters Center (CEC). This meeting is the continuity of a work process together with the Spanish value chain and in consultation with the Spanish government. It was reported that in the coming months the first ships with deforestation-free soy flour will arrive in Spain to be able to test the systems in both countries.
