Following a tax signal, an illegal butcher shop at the "Slatina" market was closed.

At the request of the Main Directorate of Fiscal Control at the National Revenue Agency (NRA), inspectors from the Sofia-City Regional Food Safety Directorate (RFSD) conducted an urgent inspection of a meat sales facility located on the territory of the "Slatina" market. It was found that the company was not registered as a tenant on the market's territory in accordance with the requirements of the Food Act (FA). Approximately 9 tons of frozen foods were discovered in the warehouses, including chicken legs with expired shelf life, pork knuckle, pork fillet, and cod fish.
