Food inspection in Atakum: Penalty for businesses not complying with the rules

In collaboration with the Atakum Municipality Police Directorate and the Atakum District Agriculture and Forestry Directorate, inspections were carried out in markets, supermarkets, bakeries, and butcher shops within the city limits of Samsun. The team, which included Atakum Municipality police personnel, veterinarians, and a food engineer from the Atakum District Agriculture and Forestry Directorate, was accompanied by Atakum Deputy Mayor Suat Yıldız. As part of public health protection efforts, the inspections detailed the inspection of businesses' licenses and documents, as well as the storage conditions, price tags, and expiration dates of products, especially meat and dairy products.
