(Seoul=Yonhap News) Reporter Yu Han-joo = The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety announced on the 28th that it is recalling crab stew products that did not indicate allergens.
The targeted products are "domestic Yeonpyeongdo female crab stew" weighing 2.5 kg and 3 kg, manufactured by the food processing company Bingo Seafood and sold by the distribution specialist retailer Neulpureun Ouri. The expiration dates are from October 28, 2025, to October 30, 2025.
These products used raw materials that are subject to allergen labeling, including "crab, soybeans, and wheat," but did not indicate these ingredients.
On the same day, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety also announced the recall of "Gongdan Tteokbokki," a food product found to contain the food poisoning bacteria Staphylococcus aureus.
This product was manufactured and sold by the food processing company Gongdan Tteokbokki. The contents are 950 g, with an expiration date of October 29, 2025.
"Mokuibermushrooms" that exceeded the standard limit for the residual pesticide "carbendazim" were also recalled.
The recalled products include Chinese mokuibermushrooms imported by Seokyeong Industry and repackaged by Saebom Food. The packaging units are 10 kg and 500 g, with expiration dates of May 4, 2025, and December 26, 2026.
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety urged consumers who have purchased these products to stop using them and return them to the place of purchase.
