"Forests of Ukraine" received 8 billion UAH in profit over the year.

The forests of Ukraine in 2025 generated over 8 billion UAH in profit, paid over 15 billion UAH in taxes, and invested around 2 billion UAH in their restoration and development. This was reported by the general director of the state enterprise, Yuriy Bolothovets. According to him, during the war, foresters were able to fulfill the president's program "Green Country" and planted 1 billion trees, saved tens of thousands of hectares of natural and unallocated forests, and, under constant shelling, reduced the area of fires by 4 times. "The performance of the enterprise is not a coincidence or a gift of fate. It is a consistent policy of strong centralized management and control, transparent procurement, and open and competitive product sales," emphasized Bolothovets.
