France gets derogation from the EU for 15,000 tons of flax

Until June 30, 2022, France may market 15,000 tons of linseed with a reduced germination rate of at least 85 percent. The minimum standard is 92 percent. The derogation was granted due to a major shortage of seed with sufficient minimum germination capacity due to bad weather conditions, such as extreme rainfall.
