France's 2021 maize harvest is projected to reach approximately 14.85 million tonnes, a 9.4% increase from the previous year and nearly 13% higher than the 2016-2020 average, according to the Paris Ministry of Agriculture's statistical service, Agreste. This is an upgrade from the September forecast which predicted a slight decrease from 2020. The actual harvest is expected to be significantly larger than initially anticipated.
