France: Reduction of pig slaughter in November

In November 2022, the average pork price in France fell by €0.15/kg in a month. The base price was €2.03/kg, which is 46.5% higher than last year's price (and +36% compared to the 2017-2021 average). Swine slaughter remained stable throughout the year in terms of number of heads and weight. However, these figures are 4% lower than the 2017-2021 average.
