The Mediterranean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters Association reported a notable increase in Turkey's citrus tree population to 47 million, with a significant yield increase of 4.3 million tons. This has led to a 12% rise in fresh fruit and vegetable exports in November, totaling $371.5 million. Citrus products, including lemons and oranges, significantly contributed to this growth, totaling $207 million. The highest exports were made to Russia, followed by Iraq and Bangladesh, with the total export value for the first eleven months of the year reaching $2.325 billion, marking a 22% increase compared to the previous year.
