The Mr. Đặng Phúc Nguyên, Secretary General of the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association, reported that in October, the export value of fruits and vegetables reached 927 million USD, although it decreased sharply compared to September (1.313 billion USD), it was much higher than October 2024 (519 million USD). With the export results in October, for the first 10 months of 2025, fruit and vegetable exports reached 7.057 billion USD, an increase of 14.6% compared to the same period in 2024, and almost equal to the record fruit and vegetable export achieved in the whole of 2024 (7.12 billion USD). With the export value of fruits and vegetables still maintaining a very high level in the last months of the year (from August to now, it has always been above 900 million USD), Mr. Nguyên assessed that the total fruit and vegetable export for the year could reach the 8.5 billion USD mark.
