Imports of fresh fruit and vegetables in Spain saw significant growth in both volume and value during June 2023 compared to the same period in the previous year, indicating the vitality of the market. Total imports increased by 5.5% in volume, reaching 311,423 tons, and 17.5% in value, amounting to 329 million euros. The demand for fresh products in Spain remains constant, with notable increases in the import of vegetables such as pumpkin, onion, and potato, as well as fruits like avocado, orange, kiwi, and raspberries.
