[Nongsuchaksan Newspaper=Reporter Park Nara] Nongsan King's Berry strawberries, enhanced with functional saponin, are meeting consumers as premium strawberries. The Nongsan King's Berry Association (President Park Hyeong-gyu) held a shipment event for functional saponin King's Berry strawberries last 22nd, with the participation of over 40 farming households and Lotte Mart officials. This event was organized to announce the full-scale shipment of the popular King's Berry strawberries and to check the preparation and production status ahead of the Lotte Mart shipment of functional King's Berry strawberries containing saponin components. Nongsan City has been targeting over 100 farms since last year to enhance the differentiated value of Nongsan strawberries with saponin.
