German rapeseed meal exports on the decline

Main customers such as Denmark, Spain and France imported significantly less, while the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland ordered more extensively. Overall, Germany had a good 1 .5 million t of rapeseed meal exported, around 4% less than in the same period of the previous year. According to the Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft (mbH), this is the smallest amount in 4 years. German rapeseed meal is mainly delivered to the EU member states. These received around 1.3 million t in the period mentioned. At 685,000 t, most of it went to the Netherlands. This means that the volume has fallen by a good 5% compared to the same period last year.
