Chile's first quarter exports of dried plums reached $52.8 million, with over 13,000 tons shipped to more than 70 countries. Germany and China were the top two destinations, contributing significantly to the export's foreign exchange returns and volumes. Mexico and Poland were also key markets, with the top ten destinations accounting for over 70% of the exports. Chile is the leading global exporter of dried plums, while the United States is the largest producer.
