The Global Dairy Trade index experienced a decline of 0.9% in its latest trade, dropping the average price of dairy products to $3,488 per metric ton. Despite increases in butter and whole milk powder, the trade offset these gains with decreases in Anhydrous milk fat, Cheddar cheese, and skim milk powder. Butter prices rose by 2.2% to $5,068 per metric ton, and whole milk powder increased by 0.3% to $3,244 per metric ton. However, Anhydrous milk fat prices fell by 4.5% to $4,600 per ton, Cheddar cheese prices decreased by 3.4% to $4,407 a ton, and skim milk powder prices dropped by 1.6% to $2,766 per ton. No trading took place for butter milk powder, lactose, or sweet whey powder in the given trade.
