Nutreco's feed additive brand Selko has released its 2024 Global Mycotoxin Report, which is based on over 86,000 analyses from 45 countries. The report highlights global mycotoxin trends and potential risks for 2025. The most frequently detected mycotoxin was zearalenone, found in 66% of samples. Other common mycotoxins included deoxynivalenol, fumonisins, and T-2/HT-2 toxin. The report also noted regional variations in mycotoxin contamination, with significant levels of fumonisin, deoxynivalenol, zearalenone, and T-2/HT-2 toxins predicted for the first quarter of 2025.
