The international giant Timac Agro, part of the French Groupe Roullier, together with Global Ocean Link, are starting the construction of a large specialized hub for mineral fertilizers off the coast of Odessa, reports APK-Inform. As noted, this is a joint project to build a specialized frame complex with an area of 6,000 m², with a simultaneous capacity of 30,000 tons of bulk product. The logistics hub will be located 20 km from Odessa, near the Kyiv highway—with access to the main seaports (Odessa, Chornomorsk, Pivdennyi), which will ensure operational flexibility, minimal transport costs, and reduced military risks, the report says. The main prospective directions of the complex's work are the import and transit of fertilizers by sea, rail, and road, transshipment in bulk and in containers (big bags 500–1200 kg, hoppers, half-wagons), mixing of granulated fertilizers, and storage with guaranteed quotas and stable service during peak periods.
