The U.S. remains the leading producer, expected to produce 476,000 metric tons, followed by Turkey and Iran. Turkish production is set to nearly triple to 250,000 tons, while domestic consumption will reach 211,000 tons. Iran's production is forecast at 190,000 tons, with most of the harvest consumed domestically. Syria and the European Union are projected to produce 50,000 and 18,000 tons, respectively. China is the world's largest importer of pistachios, accounting for 35.5% of total global imports, with the majority coming from Iran and the U.S.
