The Ministry of Agriculture in Indonesia is taking steps to address the issue of excess domestic lemon crops accumulating in warehouses by buying lemons from farmers and circulating them. They have already purchased a ton for Bali and 500 kg for Jabodetabek, with additional requests from PT Mulya Raya. This initiative was started after receiving complaints from farmers about the problem starting in November 2020. Haji Syahid, a farmer who developed a lemon commodity on 40 hectares, expressed gratitude for the government's support and hopes for stabilization in sales.
