The Bolivian government has issued a supreme decree requiring the issuance of supply certificates for the export of corn, sorghum, and sugar. This move is aimed at regulating the market and ensuring a fair price and sufficient supply in the domestic market. The Ministry of Productive Development and Plural Economy will issue these certificates to individuals and organizations, and the National Customs will require the presentation of these certificates for exports. This decision is in line with the 2011 Law 144, which declares the agricultural sector a strategic sector for food production and aims to guarantee its supply at a fair price.
