Brazil: Government of Goiás donates corn seeds to farmers in the North and Northeast of the state

The Government of Goiás, through Goiás Social, the Goiana Agency for Technical Assistance, Rural Extension and Agricultural Research (Emater), Seapa and Retomada, is delivering corn seeds to family farmers in the North and Northeast regions of the state . The action, which is part of the Goiás Alerta e Solidário operation, will distribute 22 and a half tons of seeds and should generate around R$10 million in income for the beneficiaries. The delegation has already distributed seeds in 23 municipalities. Deliveries began in December, passing through the cities of Cavalcante, Colinas do Sul, Monte Alegre de Goiás, Teresina de Goiás, Simôlandia, Damianópolis, Posse, Iaciara, Nova Roma, Guarani de Goiás and Alvorada do Norte.
