Russia's grain exports from February 1 to 5 have seen a significant decrease of 48% compared to the same period last year, with wheat shipments down by 47.8% and corn by 16%. This is partly due to the lack of a discount in the price of Russian wheat compared to European grain. Despite this, Russia's grain exports in January exceeded last year's figures, with 5.3 million tons exported compared to 4.5 million tons in the previous year. A grain export quota of 24 million tons will be implemented from February 15.
