As of December 17, Ukraine has exported 13,821 thousand tons of grains and legumes since the beginning of the 2025/26 MY (July–June). According to the State Customs Service, the export volume is over 5.5 million tons or 28.6% lower than the figure on December 16 of the previous year. Wheat supplies currently amount to 7,610 thousand tons, which is almost 1.6 million tons or 17.1% less than the volume exported during the corresponding period last season. Barley exported abroad is 1,222 thousand tons – 670 thousand tons or 35.6% less. Corn supplies lag significantly behind last year's: currently they are 4,750 thousand tons against almost 8 million tons a year ago, that is 40.4% less. Only 200 tons of rye have been exported abroad this season, whereas 10.8 thousand tons were exported by this time last year.
