Peru: Grape exports to Ecuador resume

29/09/2024 Peru will once again export grapes to the Ecuadorian market, after the signing of an agreement between the National Agrarian Health Service (Senasa) and the Phytosanitary and Zoosanitary Regulation and Control Agency (Agrocalidad) of Ecuador, in a bilateral meeting held in the Tumbes region, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri). The agreement reestablishes the phytosanitary requirements for exporting table grapes to Ecuador, which will improve trade between both neighboring countries, for the benefit of Peruvian producers and the entire agro-export chain. Actions This action was developed within the framework of the actions initiated by Midagri, as part of the commitments assumed in the Loja Action Plan, in which two products of interest to each country have been prioritized.
