In January 2025, Peru's national grape production surged by 10.8% year-over-year to 250,966 tons, largely due to favorable thermal conditions that boosted vine rejuvenation and fertilization. The Ica region, the country's leading grape producer, saw an 9.5% increase, contributing to 86.3% of the total production. Other regions like Lambayeque, Piura, Áncash, and Arequipa also experienced significant growth, while production in several areas including Tacna, Moquegua, San Martín, La Libertad, and Cajamarca declined.
