In the summer of 2024, Tajikistan experienced a substantial boost in agricultural production, with a 54% increase in fruit harvests compared to 2023, totaling over 270 thousand tons. Grape production saw a remarkable 11-fold rise, recovering from previous winter damage, while vegetable production grew by 25% to 1.1 million tons, including significant increases in onions, tomatoes, carrots, and cucumbers. Melon and potato harvests also surged by 53% and 35%, respectively. Additionally, farmers re-sowed crops on over 201 thousand hectares, surpassing both planned and previous year's figures.
