In the first four months of 2025, Vietnam saw a significant 18.3% increase in seafood export turnover, reaching 3.21 billion USD, according to the Import-Export Department. This growth is evident across major markets such as China, the United States, and Japan. Notably, exports to China surged by 62.5%, accounting for 19.95% of the total export turnover. Similarly, the United States, being the second largest market, experienced a 14.5% increase in imports from Vietnam. Despite fluctuations in domestic raw seafood prices, this performance indicates a positive trend in the Vietnamese seafood industry.
