A special mobilization of the Civil Protection was announced in the Ionian Islands region of Greece with a special decision by the General Secretary for Civil Protection to prevent the spread of lumpy skin disease in small ruminants, reports the Greek Ministry of Rural Development and Food. The status for the special mobilization of civil protection for the Regional Unit will be valid for six (6) months from the date of issuance of this decision, i.e. until May 11, 2026.
