Agrarians of the Stavropol region produced more than 79 thousand tons of greenhouse tomatoes in 2022, which is 13% more than last year. The region has become the leader in Russia in terms of production volumes, the press service and information policy department of the governor and the regional government told reporters on Tuesday. "Since the beginning of the year, the greenhouse complexes of Stavropol have produced 79.1 thousand tons of tomatoes. According to this indicator, we not only exceeded our own results by 13% for the same period in 2021, but also came out on top in Russia," the message says.
