Vietnam: Growth in crop production is estimated at 3.68%

On the morning of January 31, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development made a preliminary review of crop production for the winter-spring crop 2021-2022 and implemented a production plan for the summer-autumn crop and the 2022 season. In the winter-spring crop 2021-2022, the province sows 12,083 hectares of annual crops. In which, rice is planted on more than 6,987 hectares, the average yield is estimated at 69 quintals/ha, the output is more than 48,187 tons; planted 3,293 ha of vegetables of all kinds, the yield was 188 tons/ha, the output was more than 62,020 tons; planted 1,145ha of corn, the yield is estimated at 60.6 tons/ha, the output is 6,934 tons; 156ha of beans of all kinds, the yield is 13.2 tons/ha, the output is more than 205 tons.
