Within the framework of the seminar, delegates visited a low-emission rice production model applying the intermittent flooding irrigation technique implemented by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment in collaboration with the North Central Agricultural Science and Technology Institute and Green Carbon Inc (Japan) in Can Loc commune; at the same time, they directly exchanged with technical staff and locals about the implementation process of the model. Technical staff implemented measurements of technical indicators in the rice fields. In the spring crop of 2026, Ha Tinh will implement over 4,300 hectares of rice in 15 communes and wards applying the intermittent flooding irrigation technique.
