Hadong Okjong strawberries 'to South America', the first domestic export journey to Brazil

Strawberries from Okjong-myeon in Hadong County have become the first in South Korea to be exported to Brazil, marking the first step into the Central and South American market. On the 17th, the Okjong Agricultural Cooperative in Hadong County held a "Hadong Okjong Strawberry Export to Brazil and Singapore Ceremony" attended by around 20 people, including Hadong County Mayor Ha Seung-cheol, Okjong Agricultural Cooperative Chairman Jo Ho-nam, and strawberry exporting farmers. This time, a total of 1 ton of Hadong Okjong strawberries, worth 30,000 dollars, are being exported to Brazil and Singapore. Notably, this is the first time South Korean strawberries have been exported to Brazil.
