Hail damage to cultivated lands in Karaman, Turkey:
Approximately 2 thousand decares of land, planted with corn, potatoes, and beets in Çoğlu and Burunoba villages, has been damaged by a sudden hailstorm. The Karaman Chamber of Agriculture and the Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Directorate are assessing the damage. The directorate will submit reports to the ministry in order to secure support from the presidency, ministry, and disaster fund. The farmers are seeking state assistance to recover from the damage.
