On July 19th, the durian intelligent sorting production line jointly developed by Youqi Agricultural Co., Ltd. in Sanya, Hainan Province, and a third-party technology enterprise was put into operation in Sanya, Hainan. The production line has been put into production for the 2025 harvest season, and is expected to process 2,000 tons of high-quality durians from Hainan and Southeast Asia in the next three months.
The production line is located in the country's first domestic durian intelligent processing plant, a modern factory integrating fresh fruit sorting, deep processing, and cold chain storage. The production line uses a self-developed AI model to perform "CT scans" on each durian, automatically eliminating durians with pest damage, mold, or other issues, while analyzing the number of durian chambers and predicting meat yield to provide a basis for quality assessment and grading.
The production line can not only precisely identify various defective fruits, significantly improving sorting accuracy compared to manual sorting, but also has a daily fresh fruit sorting capacity of 20 tons, which is more than six times the efficiency of traditional manual sorting.
Each sorted durian is laser-marked with a unique traceability code. Consumers can learn about the durian's origin, harvest time, sorting information, and other full-process data by scanning the code.
