The harvest of the geographically marked Havran mandarin in Balıkesir is in full swing.
Thanks to the special microclimate formed in the middle of Madra and Kazdağları, the harvest season continues for the geographically marked Havran mandarin (Satsuma). The Director of the Provincial Agriculture and Forestry, Dr. Hüseyin Düzgün, participated in the ongoing harvest and wished the producers ease.
The Havran mandarin, which has become synonymous with the region for years and has turned into a brand value, is noted to make significant contributions to the regional economy with its taste, aroma, thin skin, and high quality. Officials expressed their hopes for a bountiful season for all producers.
