Turkey: High demand for hazelnuts from Germany

The country to which the hazelnut and its products sector exports the most was Germany. According to the information compiled by AA correspondent from the data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), Turkey's exports increased by 19.2 percent last month compared to the same period of 2020, reaching 19 billion 76 million 662 thousand dollars. Turkey's hazelnut and its products exports increased by 46.9 percent in October compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 251 million 315 thousand dollars. Thus, hazelnut and its products were recorded as the sector that increased its exports the most in the agricultural group. In the said period, Germany was the country to which the sector realized the most exports, with a share of 1.3 percent from Turkey's exports.
