The estimate is that the number of tornadoes could be even higher, especially in isolated areas. The most severe case was in Rio Bonito do Iguaçu, where the tornado was preliminarily classified as F4 on the Fujita scale, with winds between 331 km/h and 419 km/h—a unprecedented milestone in recent decades in Brazil. The consequences were devastating: approximately 90% of the city was destroyed, with houses completely demolished, trees uprooted, and vehicles thrown great distances.
