China is set to approve protocols for the export of beef and chicken from Honduras, according to Emilio Aguilar, the head of the National Agrifood Health and Quality Service (Senasa) of Honduras. This approval follows China's approval of protocols for the export of coffee, shrimp, and bananas from Honduras. The poultry sector in Honduras expects that the approval will allow for the export of products to China, as well as to other countries such as the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Panama.
