The Government of Honduras and the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) have agreed on four loans worth $350 million to fund social programs in infrastructure, financial support for coffee growers, MSMEs, and gender equality. The loans include $160 million for constructing a bypass highway, $80 million for the Promotion of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion project, $70 million for the Pre-investment and Public Investment program, and $40 million to support the coffee sector. This agreement marks a significant milestone in Honduras' relationship with the CAF, with a focus on promoting inclusive and equitable development to address poverty and stimulate economic growth.
