Honey Exports Grow in First Four Months

Brazilian raw honey exports registered an increase in the first four months of 2025, according to data from Agrostat Brasil released in the Agricultural Situation Bulletin last Thursday (29), prepared by the Rural Economics Department (Deral) of the State Secretary of Agriculture and Supply (Seab). Between January and April, Brazil exported 11,901 tons of the product, representing an 8.2% increase compared to the same period in 2024, when 11,000 tons were shipped. The foreign exchange revenue obtained in the period was US$ 37.431 million, a growth of 34.9% compared to the US$ 27.740 million recorded in the previous year. The average price per ton rose 24.7%, from US$ 2,521.83 to US$ 3,145.23 – equivalent to US$ 3.15 per kilo.
