Piracicaba, 03 - For the third time, the Hortifruti Brasil team determined the potato production costs in Vargem Grande do Sul (SP), to supply the chip industry. In this research, the data were collected individually, in a Panel made with some producers and technicians from the region, and complemented with other information. Data were collected on the final costs of the 2019 winter season and a budget for 2020 was made. Chip production is widely dispersed among Brazilian regions and Vargem Grande do Sul is an important square, serving more than one industry.
