Huancavelica boosts field technification with the delivery of 38 agricultural tractors

The Regional Government of Huancavelica delivered 38 agricultural tractors to the same number of producer associations, winners of the Competitive Fund of Procompite. The initiative aims to boost the mechanization of the Huancavelica countryside in the provinces of Tayacaja, Acobamba, Churcampa, Huancavelica, Angaraes, and Huaytará. “These tractors will be the instrument with which we will sow the food security of Huancavelica. Our vision is clear: to consolidate an Agrarian Government where the small producer, the true hero of our land, has the tools to compete and grow. We are dynamizing the economy from its base,” affirmed Dr. Leoncio Huayllani Taype, regional authority. The investment is aimed at enhancing all the productive chains of the region.
