The demand for a particular variety of plum called Węgierka remains high despite its size being different from newer varieties. The supply of Węgierka in the market is lower compared to other varieties like President or TopHipt. As a result, fruit growers are able to sell Węgierka at slightly higher prices, ranging from PLN 3.50 to PLN 4.00/kg wholesale. Additionally, producer groups also purchase this variety, with prices in the Grójec Basin being PLN 3.00/kg for sizes above 26 mm and PLN 2.50/kg for purple varieties over 35 mm in diameter.
