A survey conducted by PICK Szeged Zrt. found that 95 percent of Hungarians regularly eat hot dogs, but a quarter of them are unaware of what they are made of. The survey also showed that 77 percent of those surveyed do not look at the ingredients of hot dogs, while 49 percent choose a reliable brand and 39 percent prioritize high-quality ingredients. People over the age of 60 are the most knowledgeable about buying hot dogs, with over 40 percent choosing a trustworthy brand whose ingredients they know.
