The article reports on the Systematic Survey of Agricultural Production (LPA) in Ceará, Brazil, for the period from April 16 to May 15, 2021, which shows a slight increase in the estimated production of various fruits compared to April, but a 3.9% decrease compared to 2020. Specifically, the production of cashews is projected to decrease by 19.42% compared to 2020, despite a 13.7% increase from April to May. The survey also highlights changes in production expectations for 18 products, with 15 showing increases and 3 showing decreases, attributed to various factors such as weather conditions, water shortage, and low demand.
