As ICAR General Director Dmitry Rylko told Interfax, wheat production can be expected at 92 million tons, and total grain production at 145 million tons. This year, ICAR estimates the wheat harvest at 91.6 million tons, and total grain at 144 million tons. “The export potential of wheat in the new agricultural year (will begin on July 1, 2024 - IF) can be predicted at 48 million tons, of all grain - at 63 million tons,” he said, recalling that for the current agricultural year, ICAR estimates are 51 million and 67 million tons respectively. “Of course, most of the risks, favorable opportunities and uncertainties for the future harvest are still ahead.
