The Pskov Region has achieved its goal of reaching USD 33.2 million in agricultural exports by the end of 2024, with the Velikoluksky Meat-Processing Plant leading exports, especially to China and Vietnam. The region's exports are mainly meat (over 70%) and fish (about 15%) products. A new agreement aims to boost agricultural exports by 1.5 times by 2030 compared to 2021 levels. Support from the federal project 'Acceleration of small and medium-sized businesses' will continue under the state program 'Development of agriculture in the Pskov region.' Additionally, the regional project 'Personnel in the agro-industrial complex' has been initiated to improve agricultural staffing, establishing eight agricultural classes for students in various districts, focusing on areas like veterinary science and biotechnology.
