Imported shrimp volumes continued to decline in November, with strong sales in Peru

Customs data showed that in November, imports of warm-water shrimp fell 7% year-on-year to 73,705 tons, with a value of $394 million, down 6% year-on-year. The import unit price rose 1% to $5.35/kg. In the first 11 months, the cumulative imports were 825,616 tons, down 10% year-on-year, and the import value decreased by 19% to $4.05 billion.
