In November, imports of warm-water shrimp saw a 7% year-on-year decrease to 73,705 tons, with a value of $394 million, marking a 6% decrease from the previous year. The import unit price rose 1% to $5.35/kg. From January to November, total imports were down 10%, and the import value decreased by 19%. Ecuador's shrimp imports also declined, with a 8% year-on-year decrease to 50,049 tons, and a 5% decrease in import value. In contrast, Peruvian and Vietnamese shrimp sales saw significant increases in November. Indian shrimp exports to China experienced a substantial drop, with a 19% decrease in volume and a 24% decrease in export value. Thailand and Indonesia reported increases in sales by 2% and 4% respectively, with Thailand's unit price being higher at $9.77/kg.
