Moldova has experienced a notable increase in table grape exports in the first 10 months of this year, with a 1% rise in volume and a significant 42% increase in value compared to the same period in the previous year. A total of 41.5 thousand tons of grapes were exported, generating approximately $46.1 million. The primary markets include the EU, which imported 45% of the total volume, and the CIS region, which imported 45% less than in the previous year. Other countries contributed to a 14% increase in imports. The European Parliament has allowed Moldovan producers to export grapes to the EU without taxes and quantitative restrictions, provided they meet the quality and safety standards of the destination countries.
