Over the past year, 1.4 million tons of Russian agricultural products were sold at the commodity auctions of the National Commodity Exchange (NCE). This is reported in the materials of the trading platform. The bulk of the volumes consisted of dairy products – 739.6 thousand tons. The indicator for them increased the most – doubling from last year. In second place by weight were grains and legumes – 556.7 thousand tons. The remaining sales volumes were much lower: sugar – 114.2 thousand tons (1.4 times more), meat and meat products – 2.6 thousand tons. Data on trading activity at the NCE were also presented. In total, over 4.9 thousand transactions were concluded there over the past year. They were made by 1,074 Russian companies, which is 43.4 percent more than in 2024. The buyers at the commodity auctions were 146 domestic companies. All of them are large agricultural producers. It is not specified how many there were a year earlier.
